DTEK Donetsk Grids has restored electricity to more than 2,000 households over the course of a day
Over the course of a day, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews have restored power to residents of two settlements, thus restoring electricity to 2,377 families.
The situation in the Donetsk region remains steadily difficult. Shelling is ongoing. According to the Ministry of Defense, the enemy continues to carry out assault operations in the directions of Avdiivka and Bakhmut.
96 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 301 days in a row and are repairing equipment and lines, once it becomes possible.
Due to a difficult situation in the energy system, emergency power cutoffs are ongoing in the Donetsk region in accordance with the NPC Ukrenergo order. This is a necessary step to stabilize the energy system and prevent new outages. The schedules of stabilization shutdowns are no longer valid. We also urge all customers to consume electricity reasonably – switch on energy-consuming devices in turn and minimize electricity consumption from 06.00 to 11.00 in the morning and from 17.00 to 23.00 in the evening. We ask business customers to limit usage of exterior lighting of facades of offices, restaurants, malls.
