During one day, DTEK Donetsk Grids restored the electricity supply for 6,500 families in the Donetsk region

On March 17, DTEK power engineers restored electricity for 6,500 families in 6 settlements in the Donetsk region. Emergency recovery works in the region continue as soon as the company's specialists are able to perform them safely.

As of March 18, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to restore electricity to Pervomaisk, Netaylovo, Umanske, Mariinka, Novhorodske, and Yatske in part of the Donetsk region. In total – for 6,500 families.

191 settlements in the Donetsk region remain without electricity. The difficult situation continues in Mariupol, where more than 200,000 families in the city are left without energy supply due to regular shelling and the inability to repair power grids. The situation is complicated by active hostilities in the city, which have not stopped for more than a week.

DTEK Donetsk Grids works continuously and does everything possible to promptly restore electricity supply to settlements affected by the fighting. The company cooperates with the Armed Forces of Ukraine to gain safe access to places with damaged power lines.

DTEK's power engineers, together with doctors, volunteers, suppliers of essential food and medicine, do everything in their power to support the country during this difficult time.
