DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to almost 4,000 families over the course of a day

On April 14, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews, with the permission of the military, were able to restore power to 15 settlements, de-energized due to shelling, thus restoring power to almost 4,000 families. Specialists of the energy company commence repairs once it becomes possible in order to support residents of the region in the difficult situation of constant hostilities.

Over the course of a day, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to completely or partially restore power to 15 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring electricity to 3,872 families. 

Donetsk region remains an arena of heavy fighting. Constant massive shelling continues to destroy the energy infrastructure of the region.  

Due to constant damage of grids and equipment by shelling, 109 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 416 days in a row and are repairing equipment and lines once it becomes possible.
