Over the course of a day, DTEK has restored electricity to homes of more than 5,000 families in the Donetsk region

Over the course of a day, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have completely or partially restored power to 8 settlements of the region, thus restoring electricity to homes of 5,107 families in the Donetsk region.

The majority of restorations were in Bakhmut community, subjected to continuous shelling. Here, power was restored to almost 4,000 households. Energy workers, with the permission of the military, repeatedly manage to restore electricity here almost every day. Other communities of the region suffer from consequences of hostilities as well. For instance, yesterday specialists of the energy company were also able to work in Avdiivka, Kramatorsk and Toretsk communities.

Hostilities are underway, continuing to destroy grids and power equipment. The most difficult directions remain Sloviansk, Avdiivka, Marinka, Toretsk and Bakhmut. 95 settlements in the Donetsk region remain without electricity, as energy workers are unable to work there. Specialists of the energy company will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

DTEK Donetsk Grids crews are working non-stop for 170 days in a row and are repairing equipment and lines again and again, as soon as it becomes possible.
