DTEK restored electricity to 22,000 families in the Donetsk region over the course of a day

During the day, emergency and repair crews have completely or partially restored power to 22 settlements of the Donetsk region, thus restoring electricity to 22,117 households in Bakhmut, Pokrovsk and Kramatorsk districts. For example, power was restored to more than 17,000 customers in the areas of Toretsk and Bakhmut that were left without electricity due to active hostilities the day before.

Active hostilities are underway. The situation in the region remains difficult, especially in the north. Constant massive shelling causes large-scale damage to electrical equipment and lines, including the ones that have already been repaired. We ask residents to treat power supply issues, created by hostilities, with understanding. Unfortunately, shelling of territories continues, causing damage to infrastructure of the grids and shutdown of energy enterprises.

Residents of 341 settlements in the Donetsk region remain without electricity. The most difficult situation is near Sloviansk, Avdiivka, Marinka, Toretsk and Bakhmut. Energy workers have to wait for the permit from the Armed Forces of Ukraine to perform repairs.

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 111 days in a row and together with all other services are doing everything possible to provide electricity to the homes of the region’s residents.

If you have a power outage, please, inform DTEK Donetsk Grids. To contact the company, please, use official information channels only.
