Over the course of the past 24 hours, DTEK has restored power to more than 13,000 families in the Donetsk region

On April 25, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to restore power to more than 13,000 families. Energy workers have completely or partially restored service to 25 settlements in the Donetsk region, left without electricity due to hostilities.

Active military activities are underway in the Donetsk region. Despite difficult situation in the region, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to repair equipment and lines, and restore power to 25 settlements, thus restoring service to homes of 13,714 families in Pokrovsk, Volnovakha, Bakhmut and Kramatorsk districts.

Residents of 227 settlements in the Donetsk region remain without electricity. Active military activities are ongoing in the region.

The most difficult situation is near Lyman, Avdiivka, Marinka, Toretsk and Velyka Novosilka, where electrical equipment and power lines are being constantly damaged due to active hostilities. Company’s specialists are waiting for the permit from the Armed Forces of Ukraine in order to perform repair of lines.
