DTEK Donetsk Grids managed to restore electricity to almost 38,000 families in the frontline Donetsk region over the course of a week
Despite constant shelling of the region, energy workers are working and restoring power supply in the region. Over the past week, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews managed to completely or partially restore electricity to 43 settlements, thus restoring electricity to homes of 37,874 families in the frontline Donetsk region.
Including the weekend, when energy workers were able to repair a number of damages and restore electricity to almost 2,000 families in 7 settlements, de-energized due to constant shelling.
According to the Donetsk RMA, shelling of the Donetsk region continues. In particular, yesterday alone Vuhledar was shelled 36 times, Lyman community – 28.
111 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
