DTEK Donetsk Grids managed to restore electricity to more than 46,000 families in the frontline Donetsk region over the course of a week

DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews managed to completely or partially restore electricity to 46 settlements over the course of the week, thus restoring electricity to homes of 46,879 families in the frontline Donetsk region. 

Including the weekend, when energy workers were able to repair a number of damages and restore electricity to 8,300 families in 13 settlements, de-energized due to constant shelling. 

The situation in the Donetsk region remains difficult due to the intensification of hostilities. According to the head of the region Vadym Filashkin, the enemy shelled settlements of the region 16 times over the course of the day. 

Because of constant shelling , specialists of the energy company do not always have access to the work sites due to the security situation in the region. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
