During the week (September 12 through 18), DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency and restoration crews have restored electricity to homes of 14,000 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region that were without power due to shelling. Damaged grids were repaired in 25 settlements. Some homes required restoration of electricity on multiple occasions due to frequent enemy attacks. Our specialists commence work immediately after obtaining a permit from the AFU and SES. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for normal life of region’s residents.

Intensity of shelling by the russian invaders remains high in the Dnipropetrovsk region, frequently damaging grids and leaving residents of the region without electricity. Despite constant threat from aggressors, DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists continue to promptly restore electricity to residents of the region.

Work is carried out immediately after obtaining a permit from the AFU and State Emergency Service. Over the week, power was restored to 14,000 families in 25 settlements, completely or partially de-energized due to hostilities. Some of them required restoration of electrical infrastructure again and again due to constant shelling.

The most difficult direction remains Nikopol district that suffers from massive enemy attacks every day. Yesterday, DTEK energy workers have restored power to more than 300 households in 3 settlements.

About 3,600 families in 7 settlements of the Dnipropetrovsk region remain without electricity after yesterday shelling. Energy workers are doing everything possible to restore electricity as soon as possible. Work will be conducted once our specialists obtain a permit from AFU and SES.
