Over the course of a week, DTEK energy workers restored power to 1,500 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region that were left without electricity due to shelling

Over the past week (May 22 through 28), DTEK energy workers have restored electricity to homes of 1,500 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region, de-energized due to hostilities. DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists repair lines and electrical equipment, destroyed by the enemy, immediately after obtaining permission from the AFU and SES. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for normal life of region’s residents.

Dnipropetrovsk region continues to suffer from enemy shelling that, among other things, destroys electrical infrastructure of towns and villages. Last week, company’s specialists have restored power to 1,500 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region that were de-energized due to shelling. 

DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews are doing everything possible to repair damage as soon as possible. They commence work immediately after obtaining permission and access to the site of damage from the AFU and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.  

Power supply to all affected districts is now fully restored. 

Since the beginning of a full-scale war, DTEK energy workers have restored electricity to a total of 949,000* households*.
