From August 5 to 11, specialists of the DTEK Grids DSO were able to restore power to 59 settlements, affected by enemy attacks, thus restoring electricity to homes of 54,500 families in Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk and Odesa regions. Specialists of the DTEK Grids Distribution System Operators repair the grids, destroyed by the enemy, immediately after obtaining permission from the AFU and the SES.

The most active hostilities and, thus, the majority of damages are in the Donetsk region. Once it becomes possible and the military provide permission, our specialists continue to repair grids and equipment, damaged by shelling. Last week, they managed to restore electricity to homes of 46,200 families in the frontline region.

Dnipropetrovsk region is also constantly subjected to enemy shelling, especially its southern part. From August 5 to 11, our specialists managed to repair a number of grid damages, caused by enemy attacks, and restore electricity to 6,400 families.

Odesa region suffers from enemy attacks too. Here, yet another enemy attack left 1,900 families without power supply. Energy workers promptly restored electricity to their homes.

“For 901 days now, energy workers have been holding the energy front and providing Ukrainians with electricity in the conditions of constant enemy attacks. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, we have already restored electricity to 13.2 mln* families in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa and Donetsk regions, and in the city of Kyiv. Some settlements close to the area of hostilities had electricity restored to them on dozens of occasions,” – noted Oleksandr Fomenko, CEO at DTEK Grids.

DTEK Grids energy workers are doing everything possible to eliminate damage as soon as possible. They commence work immediately after obtaining permission and access to the site of damage from the AFU and SES.
