Over the course of the week, DTEK Grids DSO restored electricity to more than 184,000 homes in Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Odesa and Kyiv regions, as well as in the city of Kyiv
In particular, from October 20 to 26, specialists were able to restore power to almost 147,100 homes in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The enemy is constantly shelling the Dnipropetrovsk region, regularly damaging the grids and leaving residents of the region’ without electricity.
At the same time, despite an extremely difficult security situation, energy workers managed to conduct a number of repairs in the Donetsk region, thus restoring electricity to homes of 20,200 families of local residents. And though restoring power supply in the region becomes increasingly difficult, our energy workers continue to restore electricity in the region once it becomes possible.
Last week, energy workers in the Odesa region restored electricity to 8,700 homes, de-energized due to enemy attacks.
The Kyiv region and the capital continue to suffer from regular enemy attacks. Last week, energy company’s specialists here were able to restore electricity to 7,800 and to almost 300 homes correspondingly.
“The enemy does not stop to attacking Ukraine and destroying peaceful towns and villages. Despite all security challenges, energy workers continue to work and restore electricity for as long as 1,342 days now. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, we have already restored electricity to more than 24.1 mln* families in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa and Donetsk regions, and in the city of Kyiv. Some settlements close to the area of hostilities had electricity restored to them on dozens of occasions,” – noted Alina Bondarenko, CEO at DTEK Grids.
Energy workers of DTEK Grids are doing everything possible to eliminate damage as soon as possible. They commence work immediately after obtaining permission and access to the site of damage from the AFU and SES.
