DTEK Donetsk Grids managed to restore electricity to 11,000 families over the course of three days

Over the course of the day, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to repair the grids, damaged by shelling, for residents of 33 settlements, thus restoring access to power supply to 11,000 families in the Donetsk region. Specialists of the energy company are doing everything possible to restore electricity in the frontline region once the shelling subsides and the military provide a permit for work performance.

Yesterday, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have completely or partially restored power to 33 settlements, thus restoring electricity to homes of 11,099 families. 

According to the Donetsk RMA, shelling of the region continues. In particular, Lyman community was shelled multiple times, while Avdiivka suffered four air strikes. 

Due to constant damage of grids and equipment by shelling, 116 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 591 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible. About 60 crews of the energy company are working daily on restorations in the region.
