DTEK Grids DSO restored electricity to 43,000 families in Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions over the course of three days

From April 15 to 17, energy workers have completely or partially restored electricity to residents of 77 settlements in Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions, which constantly suffer from enemy shelling, thus restoring power to homes of 43,000 families. Specialists of the DTEK Grids Distribution System Operators repair the grids, destroyed by the enemy, immediately after obtaining permission from the AFU and the SES.

Active hostilities are ongoing in the Donetsk region. The situation remains extremely difficult due to constant shelling that damages energy infrastructure among other things. Despite difficult situation in the region, energy workers, with the permission of the military, were able to access a number of grids damages and repair it, thus restoring electricity to homes of 37,000 families in 69 settlements of the Donetsk region over the course of three days. 

Dnipropetrovsk region also suffers from regular shelling, especially the south of the region, where grids and equipment are being constantly damaged too. Over the course of three days, employees of DTEK Grids DSO restored electricity to 6,400 residents of 8 settlements in the Dnipropetrovsk region, de-energized due to enemy attacks. 

Specialists of the DTEK Grids DSO restored electricity to some settlements close to the area of hostilities on dozens of occasions and continue to do it again and again. 

DTEK Grids energy workers have been working for 785 days and are doing everything possible to eliminate damage as soon as possible. They commence work immediately after obtaining permission and access to the site of damage from the AFU and SES.
