Hostilities are underway in the Donetsk region. Shelling, missile and air strikes are ongoing and continue to destroy electrical infrastructure of the region.
100 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 263 days in a row and are repairing equipment and lines, once it becomes possible.
The situation in the energy system remains difficult. Therefore, we urge all customers to support energy workers in their fight on the energy front. To do that, please consume electricity reasonably – switch on energy-consuming devices in turn and minimize electricity consumption from 06.00 to 11.00 in the morning and from 17.00 to 23.00 in the evening. We ask business customers to limit usage of exterior lighting of facades of offices, restaurants, malls.
