DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to 9,000 families in the Donetsk region yesterday

On July 3, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews, despite all challenges and danger, were able to restore power to 25 settlements, de-energized due to enemy shelling, thus restoring power to homes of 9,000 local residents. Energy workers commence repairs immediately once the shelling subsides and the military provide permission for work performance.

Yesterday, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to completely or partially restore electricity to 25 settlements in the frontline Donetsk region, thus restoring electricity to 9,142 homes.

The situation in the Donetsk region remains extremely difficult due to constant enemy shelling. According to the head of the region Vadym Filashkin, the enemy shelled settlements of the Donetsk region 22 times yesterday.

Constant shelling, missile and air strikes continue to damage the energy infrastructure. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine
