DTEK Donetsk Grids was able to restore electricity to 13,700 homes yesterday

Yesterday, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to conduct a number of grids repairs, caused by shelling, and restore power to 19 settlements, de-energized by shelling, thus restoring electricity to homes of 13,700 families. Energy workers commence repairs immediately once the shelling subsides and the military provide permission for work performance.

Donetsk region continues to suffer from constant enemy attacks that destroy the energy system, among other things. The emergency and repair crews repair lines and equipment, damaged by the enemy, and are doing everything possible to restore electricity in the region once it becomes possible and the military provide permission for work performance. 

Yesterday in particular, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists were able to completely or partially restore power to 19 settlements in the frontline Donetsk region, thus restoring electricity to 13,739 homes. 

The situation in the Donetsk region still remains extremely difficult due to constant enemy attacks and shelling. According to the head of the region Vadym Filashkin, russians shelled settlements of the region 14 times over the course of the day. Energy workers have been working non-stop for 1,066 days and will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
