DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to more than 13,000 families in the Donetsk region over the course of two days

On July 24 and 25, despite shelling, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists were able to restore electricity to residents of 12 settlements, de-energized due to constant hostilities, thus restoring power supply to more than 13,000 families. Specialists of the energy company commence repairs once the shelling subsides and the military provide a permit for performance of restoration activities.

Over the course of two days, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews have completely or partially restored electricity to 12 settlements, thus restoring power to 13,595 families.

Fighting is ongoing in the Donetsk region. According to the head of the region Pavlo Kyrylenko, shelling of the settlements continues both near the buffer zone and in the relative rear.

Due to constant damage of grids and equipment by shelling, 114 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
