DTEK Donetsk Grids restored power to almost 200,000 families in April

In April, despite highly active hostilities in the region, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists, with the permission of the military, were able to repair a number of grids damages and restore power to homes of residents of 239* settlements, thus restoring electricity to almost 200,000 families in the Donetsk region. Energy workers are doing everything possible to restore power supply in the frontline region once it becomes possible and the military provide a permit for work performance.

Massive shelling of the Donetsk region, as well as missile and air attacks continued in April, causing damage to the energy infrastructure on a daily basis. Last month, despite all difficulties, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to completely or partially restore electricity to residents of 239 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring power to homes of 199,600 families.

Including last week, when specialists of the energy company have restored electricity to 45,600 families in 45 settlements of the Donetsk region.

The situation with shelling in the Donetsk region remains very difficult. In particular, according to the Ministry of Defense, the enemy has recently inflicted 5 missile strikes on Kramatorsk, Kostiantynivka and Pavlohrad. While Bakhmut and Marinka remain in the epicenter of hostilities.

Due to constant shelling, 109 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 433 days in a row and are repairing equipment and lines once it becomes possible.
