Electricity restored to more than 3,000 homes in the Donetsk region: DTEK Donetsk Grids continues repairs after shelling

Yesterday, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists, despite the difficult situation in the region, were able to restore electricity to 14 settlements, de-energized due to constant shelling, thus restoring electricity to homes of more than 3,000 families in the frontline Donetsk region. Specialists of the energy company are doing everything possible to restore electricity in the Donetsk region, despite constant shelling.

On October 12, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews, with the permission of the military, were able to access a number of damages and repair it, thus completely or partially restoring electricity to 14 settlements in the Donetsk region. Power supply has been restored to 3,290 families. 

Hostilities are under way in the Donetsk region. Shelling is ongoing and continues to destroy peaceful towns and villages, demolishing energy infrastructure in particular. Specialists of the energy company do not always have access to the work sites due to the security situation in the region. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 962 days in a row and repair equipment and lines immediately once it becomes possible. Nearly 70 crews of the energy company are working daily on restorations in the region.
