Electricity is restored to more than 14,000 families: DTEK continues restoring power supply in the Donetsk region

Shelling continues in the Donetsk region. The situation remains very difficult. Nevertheless, yesterday DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to completely or partially restore power to residents of 6 settlements in the Donetsk region. Electricity was restored to 14,458 families in Pokrovsk, Bakhmut, Volnovakha and Kramatorsk districts. The majority – in Pokrovsk and Bakhmut districts.

Residents of 280 settlements in the Donetsk region remain without electricity. The most difficult situation is near Lyman, Avdiivka, Marinka, Toretsk, Bakhmut and Velyka Novosilka, where hostilities frequently cause damage of electrical equipment. Company’s specialists are waiting for the permit from the Armed Forces of Ukraine to perform repairs.
