DTEK Dnipro Grids received an aerial platform from USAID
Since the first days of war, Dnipropetrovsk region has been suffering from enemy attacks that regularly destroy electrical infrastructure of towns and villages. Thanks to the new 24-meter Iveco Daily chassis-mounted aerial platform of the leading Italian company SOCAGE DA324, energy workers will faster eliminate malfunctions in operation of the grid, and the customers will faster receive services.
“DTEK Dnipro Grids is grateful to USAID for the provided aid related to the car fleet replenishment, which is especially important now. The aerial platform will operate in the western subdivision and will help eliminate emergencies on the high-voltage grids. It will also allow to promptly restore electricity to residents of communities on the southern border of the region – exactly where hostilities regularly damage the grid. For us, uninterrupted power supply is a basis of a normal life of Ukrainians,” — noted DTEK Dnipro Grids.
The working rise height of the new aerial platform is 24 meters; horizontal reach of the boom is 11 meters. The machinery is also equipped with a cradle with 250 kg load capacity and 90-degree turn left and right that ensures additional convenience during performance of non-standard tasks.
Let us remind that during the past autumn-winter period, DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists have eliminated more than 5,500 emergencies, including 1,000 – caused by hostilities, and restored electricity to 717,000 customers.
