DTEK Donetsk Grids restored the operation of 11 power lines, 117 transformer substations and returned power to 9 frontline villages in the Pokrovsky district. These settlements lost power on August 11 because of hostilities. The company is now awaiting approval to restore power supply in another 6 settlements.

The energy workers promptly returned the power for more than 3,000 residents of the villages of Konstantinovka, Yekaterinovka, Annovka, Elizavetovka, Antonovka, Uspenovka, Bogoyavlenka, Zelenyi Gai, and Dalnee.

Since the villages of Taramchiuk, Berezovoye, Stepnoye, Sladkoye, Slavnoye, and Novomikhaylovka are in the grey zone, it is required to coordinate the recovery activities with the JCCC (Joint Center for Control and Coordination on Ceasefire Issues). Until then, there will be no power supply there.

“DTEK Donetsk Grids has restored power supply for 3,000 residents of frontline settlements. We are making every effort to restore electricity as soon as possible, since this is the key to comfort in every home,” says Oleksii Degtyarev, General Director at DTEK Donetsk Grids.

DTEK Donetsk Grids serves the Ukraine’s interests, shares the values of the community, and understands that permanent and uninterrupted power supply is crucial for the residents in the region.
