DTEK Donetsk Grids restores service to 9 front-line village that lost power because of armed conflict
The energy workers promptly returned the power for more than 3,000 residents of the villages of Konstantinovka, Yekaterinovka, Annovka, Elizavetovka, Antonovka, Uspenovka, Bogoyavlenka, Zelenyi Gai, and Dalnee.
Since the villages of Taramchiuk, Berezovoye, Stepnoye, Sladkoye, Slavnoye, and Novomikhaylovka are in the grey zone, it is required to coordinate the recovery activities with the JCCC (Joint Center for Control and Coordination on Ceasefire Issues). Until then, there will be no power supply there.
“DTEK Donetsk Grids has restored power supply for 3,000 residents of frontline settlements. We are making every effort to restore electricity as soon as possible, since this is the key to comfort in every home,” says Oleksii Degtyarev, General Director at DTEK Donetsk Grids.

Let us recall that DTEK Donetsk Grids restored the operation of the 35kV overhead line named “Scherbinovka – Podyem-3” damaged after shelling, and returned power to 660 households in front-line villages of Druzhba and Ozarianovka. In June, the company restored the operation of the 10 kV line and returned electricity to 37 households in the front-line village of Opytnoye. In July, DTEK Donetsk Grids restored the operation of the 6 kV line and returned electricity to 68 households in the front-line villages of Travnevoe and Gladosovo. And in August, the company restored the operation of the 10 kV line and returned electricity to 38 households in the Taramchiuk front-line village.
In 2021, DTEK Donetsk Grids restored the operation of 2 high-voltage lines, 13 medium-low voltage lines, 117 transformer substations damaged because of shelling. The company restored power supply for more than 4,500 residents of 18 frontline settlements.
