DTEK Odesa Grids buys nine pieces of new specialized vehicle
With the help of these vehicles, our energy workers will arrive at their destination faster, connect new consumers more efficiently, repair equipment for electrical substations, transformer substations and distribution points. A car lift will come in handy for workers when replacing insulators on poles, working with portable grounding, etc. Funds for their purchase were provided for by the company's investment program for 2021.
“Sustainable development is a priority for DTEK Odesa Grids investments. We are upgrading the infrastructure of the company so that our teams could repair overhead lines more quickly, and customers have fewer interruptions time because of the accidents,” says Oleksandr Fomenko, General Director of DTEK Odesa Grids.
Also within the year, the company plans to purchase a truck crane with a lifting capacity of 25 tons, a dump truck, 9 vans for crews transportation, 2 mobile laboratories - ETL-10 and ETL-35, which will help our workers to find damage to the insulation of cable lines, 5 pieces of T-150K tractor mounted drilling rigs for work in distribution networks, a tanker for transporting transformer oil, a drilling machine on a truck chassis for high-voltage service and a forestry tractor (mulcher) for clearing overgrowth of power lines.
As a reminder, in 2020, DTEK Odesa Grids purchased seven Mercedes Benz Sprinter vans 4х4, two Ford Transit mobile laboratories, an Iveco Trakker 6x6 truck tractor, a 35t Palfinger truck crane based on MAZ, eight Mitsubishi L200 vehicles, two dump truck Iveco TRACKER, seven BKM-2M on the T-150 chassis. Funds for their purchase were provided for by the company's investment program for 2020.
