DTEK continues to restore power: electricity is restored to 1,100 families

On May 23, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews have completely or partially restored power to 2 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring electricity to 1,100 families. Despite the situation in the region, energy company’s specialists continue to restore electricity to residents of the Donetsk region as soon as it becomes possible.

Yesterday, energy workers managed to restore power to 2 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring electricity to homes of 1,195 families in Pokrovsk and Bakhmut districts.

299 settlements in the Donetsk region remain without electricity. The most difficult situation remains near Lyman, Avdiivka, Marinka, Toretsk, Bakhmut and Velyka Novosilka, where active hostilities frequently cause damage to electrical equipment and power lines. Company’s specialists are waiting for the permit from the Armed Forces of Ukraine to perform repairs.
