DTEK continues restoring power to the liberated areas of the Kyiv region: electricity is restored to 3,000 families in 22 settlements
Yesterday, DTEK electricians have restored power to 3,084 families in 22 settlements of the Kyiv region. In particular, in the Bucha district power was completely restored to the following villages: Berestianka, Mykhailenky, Pylypovychi, Nebrat and Velykyi Lis. Electricity was partially restored to Irpin, Makariv and the following villages: Shybene, Myrcha, Nove Zalissia, Zahaltsi, Druzhnia and Mykhailivka-Rubezhivka. Energy workers have repaired and energized 5 transformer substations in Borodianka. It will help continue restoring power to residential buildings. In the Vyshhorod district, electricity was completely restored to Sosnivka and Fenevychi, and partially restored to the following villages: Havrylivka, Voronkivka, Obukovychi, Termakhivka and Kozarovychi.
As of today, energy workers have completely energized Brovary district, where battles were fought, via 35 and 10 kV main grid. Electricity is restored to Velyka Dymerka and Kalynivka communities, and to the following villages of Baryshivka community: Bohdanivka, Velyka Dymerka, Hrebelky, Zalissia, Kulazhyntsi, Ploske, Rusaniv, Svitylnia, Skybyn, Tarasivka, Shevchenkove, Peremoha and Rudnytske. Local work is ongoing in these settlements: energy workers replace poles, repair transformers and process requests of consumers, who returned home (specialists connect them to the restored grid).
DTEK emergency and restoration crews continue restoring power to districts of the Kyiv region that were liberated from russian invaders by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. On April 20, DTEK energy workers plan to perform power restoration activities in 21 more settlements of Bucha and Vyshhorod districts.
Energy workers of all DTEK Grids Distribution System Operators rallied to restore everything that was destroyed by the invaders. DTEK energy workers from Odessa and Dnipropetrovsk regions, as well as the city of Kyiv are helping to restore damaged grids in the Kyiv region. Electricians start their work immediately after mine clearance of these territories by the Ukrainian military and after provision of a permit by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, required to access damaged sites. First, emergency crews restore 110-35 kV high-voltage grids that supply power to the settlements. Then, they repair 10-0.4 kV distribution grids that supply power directly to residential buildings. Additionally, company’s specialists process requests of consumers from towns and villages, where service was completely restored to settlements through 10 kV grids, and started repairing 0.4 kV grids.
145 settlements and over 77,000 households in the Kyiv region remain without electricity.
Emergency crews of energy workers are working non-stop for 56 days in a row in order to promptly restore power to settlements in Kyiv region, affected by hostilities.
