DTEK has restored electricity to more than 134,000 families in the Donetsk region in a week

Over the course of a week, energy workers managed to completely or partially restore power to 122 settlements, thus restoring electricity to 134,641 families in the Donetsk region.

For example, yesterday specialists of the energy company have repaired equipment and lines in 14 settlements and restored electricity to 14,073 families in Pokrovsk, Bakhmut and Kramatorsk districts. The majority – in Pokrovsk and Bakhmut districts.

Residents of 323 settlements in the Donetsk region remain without electricity. The most difficult situation is near Sloviansk, Avdiivka, Marinka, Toretsk, Bakhmut and Velyka Novosilka.

The situation with hostilities in the north of the Donetsk region becomes more complicated every day, thus increasing the risk of power outages due to damage of the grids or shutdown of some energy enterprises and causing larger and larger damage of electrical equipment and power lines. Company’s specialists are waiting for the permit from the Armed Forces of Ukraine in order to perform repairs.
