DTEK restores power to settlements in the Donetsk region: on April 18 electricity was restored to 23,000 homes

Yesterday, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have energized 13 settlements in Pokrovsk and Bakhmut districts of the Donetsk region, despite escalation of hostilities in the region. Service is restored to 23,428 families.

234 settlements in the Donetsk region remain without electricity. The most difficult situation is near Lyman, Avdiivka, Marinka, Toretsk and Velyka Novosilka, where electrical equipment and power lines are being constantly damaged due to active hostilities. Company’s specialists are waiting for the permit from the Armed Forces of Ukraine in order to perform repair of lines.
