DTEK resumes registering electrical meters readings in the customers’ homes

DTEK Odessa Grids resumes registering electrical meter readings in the customers’ homes. Readings will now be registered both on the switchboards in common areas and in the residents’ private households and apartments. The Distribution System Operator asks customers to provide controllers with access to the meters and support their work.

DTEK Odessa Grids specialists resumed registering reference readings from customers, whose meters are installed in apartments and at the territory of private households, thus allowing visual verification of meters functioning and compare readings to calculate actual energy consumption.

“DTEK hears and understands customer needs. DTEK provides round-the-clock remote and online services that enable customers to individually submit meter readings every month. Company’s controllers, on their part, will verify readings of meters located in apartments, at the territory of private houses, and on the switchboards in common places in order to ensure that customers receive accurate bills from suppliers,” – informed the company.

The Distribution System Operator asks customers not to interfere with the work of company’s employees and to provide them with access to the meters.

How do I know that this is an employee of the company?

  • DTEK Odessa Grids specialists register meter reference readings only when they have employee pass, which is to be presented upon customer’s request;
  • Company’s employees are wearing overalls with DTEK logo;
  • Specialists inspect the meter only; they do not offer any other services and do not take any payment;
