DTEK restores electricity: power restored to 107,000 families in a week and the final stage of grids restoration in the Kyiv region
Last week, DTEK emergency crews have restored power to 5,794 homes in 7 settlements of the Kyiv region. In particular, energy workers have completed power restoration activities in Ivankiv community of the Vyshhorod district.
The situation in the Donetsk region remains difficult due to hostilities. Nevertheless, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews managed to restore power to homes of residents of the 112 settlements last week, thus restoring electricity to 93,051 families in the Donetsk region.
Energy workers in the Donetsk region continue to restore grids immediately after the AFU provides a permit for safe works performance.
Additionally, DTEK Odessa Grids specialists have completed restoration of grids, damaged by shelling, thus restoring electricity to 8,107 families in 8 settlements.
Electricity was restored to about 1,000 more families in the Dnipropetrovsk region that were left without electricity due to shelling in the Kryvyi Rih district, bordering the Kherson region.
Emergency crews of energy workers are working non-stop for 81 days in a row in order to promptly restore power to settlements, affected by hostilities.
