Over the course of a month, DTEK has completely restored service to the Brovary district of the Kyiv region and partially resumed operation of Customer Service Centers
In April, DTEK electricians have completely restored electricity to Brovary district and majority of settlements in Vyshhorod district. Processing of specific customer requests and restoration of constant power circuits is ongoing in these districts.
Overall, power was restored to 226,750 homes within a month. In particular, only yesterday, power was restored to 2,160 families in Irpin, Bucha, Hostomel, Makariv, Mykulychi, Berestianka, Havronschyna, Ozera, Blystavytsia, Borodianka and Kalynivka in the Bucha district, as well as Varovsk and Osovets in the Vyshhorod district
Last month, DTEK electricians have restored power to important social infrastructure facilities, including local authorities:
- Vorzel: maternity hospital;
- Brovary: hospital, water utility;
- Irpin: hospital, water utility;
- Hostomel: hospital, glass factory;
- Ivankiv: water utility, bakery, brickyard;
- Bucha: water utility, fire station;
- Ploske: gas distribution point;
- Zahaltsi: hospital, school, pharmacy;
- Makariv: communication center;
17,700 households in 30 settlements remain without electricity.
On May 2, DTEK energy workers continue performing electricity restoration activities, including as per requests of customers, who returned to their homes in the liberated settlements of Bucha and Vyshhorod districts. DTEK energy workers plan to restore service to all homes and socially important infrastructure facilities in the Kyiv region by June 1.
Energy workers of all DTEK Grids Distribution System Operators rallied to restore everything that was destroyed by the invaders. DTEK energy workers from Odessa and Dnipropetrovsk regions, as well as the city of Kyiv are helping to restore damaged grids in the Kyiv region. Electricians start their work immediately after mine clearance of these territories by the Ukrainian military and after provision of a permit by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, required to access damaged sites.
Emergency crews of energy workers are working non-stop for 67 days in a row in order to promptly restore power to settlements in Kyiv region, affected by hostilities.
The company is doing everything possible for residents of the Kyiv region to be able to return to normal life as soon as possible and to get electricity distribution services in a convenient manner. For this purpose, remote service channels are still available in the company. While for the customers, who have hard time using remote services or who have urgent issues, DSO has partially resumed operation of Customer Service Centers. CSC are open in Kyiv, Boryspil, Vyshneve, Bila Tserkva and Borodianka. Overall, 8 offices of the company are already operating in the Kyiv region.
