Over the course of a week, DTEK has restored power to more than 6,000 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region

May 30 through June 5, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency and repair crews managed to perform repairs on equipment and lines in 20 settlements of the Dnipropetrovsk region, left without electricity due to hostilities, thus restoring service to homes of more than 6,000 families. DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists continue to perform restoration activities as soon as it becomes possible.

Over the course of a week, Dnipropetrovsk region has frequently suffered from the enemy shelling that caused damage to the energy infrastructure of the region. The most difficult situation remains in the areas of the Kryvyi Rih district, bordering the Kherson region, where energy workers have been repairing damaged grids on a daily basis, thus restoring electricity to 6,223 families in 20 settlements of the region. Works are being conducted in coordination with the AFU and State Emergency Service. Some homes require power restoration on multiple occasions due to frequent shelling and damage of electrical equipment.

As of June 6, operation of all lines, damaged by shelling, has been restored. There are no new outages.

DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists are working non-stop for 103 days in a row and together with all other services are doing everything possible to restore electricity to the homes of region’s residents.
