Electricity is back for 19,600 families: DTEK Donetsk Grids restored service to 16 settlements in Donetsk region

On March 31, DTEK Donetsk Grids electricians managed to partially restore power to 16 settlements in 5 districts (Avdiivka, Kostiantynivka, Marinka, Sloviansk and Toretsk). In the course of the past 24 hours, DTEK electricians have restored power to 19,600 families in Donetsk region.

Many of these settlements have been repeatedly left without electricity and our specialists have to frequently work in the same settlements in order to restore service to the customers’ homes.

176 settlements in Donetsk region remain without electricity. The situation remains difficult in Mariupol, where more than 200,000 families are without electricity for over a month due to constant shelling and inability to repair the grids.

DTEK electricians jointly with doctors, volunteers and suppliers of the essential food and medications do everything in their power to support Ukraine and Ukrainians in these difficult circumstances.
