Energy workers are asking to pay for electricity distribution services – otherwise, they will not be able to conduct emergency maintenance

DTEK Odessa Grids energy workers are looking after the electrical system of the region 24/7. They are always ready to repair and restore grids due to blackouts and possible shelling. To further ensure stable operation of the grids, Distribution System Operator needs to purchase spare parts for repair and fuel for vehicles of emergency and restoration crews. That is why the company asks residents and entrepreneurs to timely pay the electricity bills.

Since February 24, DTEK Odessa Grids continues to operate stably. During all this time, the company did not stop performing emergency and restoration activities. Besides, since April 7, company’s specialists are helping repair the grids in the Kyiv region in order to restore electricity to the territories of the region, liberated from russian invaders, as soon as possible.

“Since the beginning of war, Ukrainian energy workers have not stopped working in order to maintain stable operation of the grids. Since the beginning of the full-scale enemy invasion on the territory of our country, DTEK Odessa Grids energy workers have restored electricity to homes of more than 1,000 families, left without electricity due to shelling in the Odessa region. In April, our specialists have eliminated 481 emergencies in the grids,” – says representative of the company.

Distribution System Operator asks residents, entrepreneurs and legal entities of Odessa and Odessa region to pay the electricity distribution bills. This is vital for the company to be able to procure materials and fuel for repair crews, and further promptly repair the grids.

Payment for electricity is now a contribution of all entrepreneurs and residents of the region in support of the entire energy system of the region. This will help overcome difficulties and ensure stable operation of grids in the Odessa region.
