Electricity is restored to another 3,000 families and glass factory in Hostomel: DTEK continues repairing grids in the liberated areas of the Kyiv region

On April 30, DTEK emergency and restoration crews have restored power to 3,072 families, left without electricity due to damage of lines, caused by hostilities in the Kyiv region. Additionally, they have restored electricity to glass factory in Hostomel, thus allowing energization of other socially important facilities in town. DTEK electricians continue restoring grids in districts of the Kyiv region immediately after mine clearance of the areas by Ukrainian military.

On April 30, DTEK electricians have restored electricity to 3,072 homes. In particular, power was completely restored to the Osovets village in the Vyshhorod district, and partially restored to Irpin, Bucha, Hostomel, Makariv, Borodianka and Byshiv in the Bucha district.

Besides, energy workers have restored electricity to the glass factory in Hostomel. Its grids is one of the power supply elements that will allow energizing other socially important facilities in town.

19,800 households in 33 settlements remain without electricity.

On May 1, DTEK energy workers continue performing power restoration activities in Bucha and Vyshhorod districts. Additionally, restoration of electricity as per requests of customers, returning to their homes in the liberated areas, is underway.

Energy workers of all DTEK Grids Distribution System Operators rallied to restore everything that was destroyed by the invaders. DTEK energy workers from Odessa and Dnipropetrovsk regions, as well as the city of Kyiv are helping to restore damaged grids in the Kyiv region. Electricians start their work immediately after mine clearance of these territories by the Ukrainian military and after provision of a permit by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, required to access damaged sites.

Emergency crews of energy workers are working non-stop for 67 days in a row in order to promptly restore power to settlements in Kyiv region, affected by hostilities. DTEK electricians jointly with doctors, volunteers and suppliers of the essential food and medications do everything in their power to support Ukraine and Ukrainians in these difficult circumstances.
