From October 14 to 20, energy workers of the DTEK Grids DSO managed to completely or partially restore power to 80 settlements, thus restoring electricity to homes of 47,500 families in Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions. Specialists of the DTEK Grids Distribution System Operators repair the grids, damaged by the enemy, immediately after obtaining permission from the AFU and SES.

Despite constant danger due to artillery shelling, missile, drone and air strikes, energy workers continue repairs in the Donetsk region once the military provide permission for works performance. Last week, they managed to restore power to 32,600 homes here.

Dnipropetrovsk region also constantly suffers from enemy attacks. Russian strikes destroy electrical infrastructure of towns and villages, among other things. The most difficult situation remains in the south of the region, which the enemy attacks daily from the occupied territories. South of the region suffers the most. Despite security challenges, from October 14 to 20, power has been restored to homes of 14,900 families.

“Energy workers continue to work and restore electricity after shelling for 971 days now. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, we have already restored electricity to 15 mln* families in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa and Donetsk regions, and in the city of Kyiv. Some settlements close to the area of hostilities had electricity restored to them on dozens of occasions,”noted DTEK Grids.

DTEK Grids energy workers are doing everything possible to eliminate damage as soon as possible. They commence work immediately after obtaining permission and access to the site of damage from the AFU and SES.
