New service from DTEK Odesa Grids: you can now formalize an owner change and conclude a distribution agreement online

DTEK Odesa Grids launched a new online service for private customers. "Conclusion of an agreement online". This service will come in handy for those who bought a house or apartment from a previous owner, inherited a home and renews the electricity distribution agreement. Therefore, there is no need to visit the company's offices.

DTEK strives to become the benchmark for customer service, and implements high-level service standards. Every month, DTEK Odesa Grids customer service centers receive about 1,200 request from customers who need to change the owner of their customer account or conclude a new agreement for the electricity distribution. We understand the needs of our customers and modern society. Therefore, from now on, it is possible to fill out an application and submit a package of documents using the service "Conclusion of an Agreement Online" on the official website of the company while staying at home or in the office. It is convenient and will significantly save time of our customers,” says Oleksandr Fomenko, CEO of DTEK Odesa Grids.

The new service is especially relevant during the coronavirus pandemic. However, this service will be available even after quarantine, because it is fully consistent with the company's strategy aimed at transferring services online.

In order to use the new online service, you need to take six simple steps:

  • Go to the DTEK Odesa Grids website, find section "Consumer agreement on the distribution services" and read the public agreement;
  • Download the forms required for filling;
  • Fill in and sign uploaded documents;
  • Scan in PDF format or take high-quality photographs of completed and signed documents;
  • Fill out an online form and attach scanned copies or high-quality photographs: signed documents, a passport, a taxpayer number certificate, a document that defines the ownership or use of the object (apartment), and a statement of the co-owner consent (if any) to conclude the relevant agreement;
  • Press Send;

Immediately after sending, the customer will receive a message that his documents have been accepted. Then a specialist from DTEK Odesa Grids will verify the documents. If there are any additional questions or errors, the company will contact you to clarify the information. If everything is ok with the provided package, the customer will get scanned copies of documents signed by the company within 10 working days.
