The majority – again in the Donetsk region. Over the course of the week, energy workers here managed to restore electricity to more than 260,000 homes of the region’s residents. The region remains the nucleus of extremely heavy fighting. Despite constant danger, energy workers continue to work and restore power supply.
From September 7 to 13, specialists in the Odesa region, in their turn, managed to restore power supply to 233,500 homes, de-energized by constant enemy attacks on the region.
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, energy workers were able to conduct a number of grid repairs and restore power to almost 61,000 homes last week. The enemy is constantly attacking Dnipropetrovsk region, thus regularly damaging grids and leaving residents of the region without electricity.

“The enemy continues to attack our country. We continue to work, despite danger and attacks, for as long as 1,664 days now. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, we have already restored electricity to more than 55.2 mln* families in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa and Donetsk regions, and in the city of Kyiv. We have restored electricity in some settlements close to the combat zone on dozens of occasions,” – noted Alina Bondarenko, CEO at DTEK Grids.
Energy workers of DTEK Grids DSO are doing everything possible to eliminate damage as quickly as possible. They commence work immediately after obtaining permission and access to the site of damage from AFU and SES.
