Energy workers of DTEK Dnipro Grids restored electricity to 820,000 families since the beginning of large-scale attacks on the Dnipropetrovsk region
Energy workers commence emergency and restoration activities immediately after obtaining permission from AFU and SES. Specialists restore damaged lines and equipment in order to restore electricity to the homes of the region’s residents as quickly as possible.
“Since Thursday, when large-scale attacks on the energy system of the region commenced, we have restored electricity to 820,000 families. To some ‒ several times due to repeated strikes. Over the weekend alone, the enemy attacked 7 more of our power facilities, one of them ‒ twice. Fortunately, no personnel were harmed. We urge residents who currently have electricity to use it sparingly. This will help hold the balance of the energy system,” ‒ noted DTEK Dnipro Grids CEO Andrii Tereshchuk.
Power and water supply have now been restored to the majority of settlements, left without electricity due to large-scale attacks. Meanwhile, the situation in the energy system remains unstable. In particular, emergency power outages are in force in Pavlohrad.
In October, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency and restoration crews restored power supply to a total of 1.4 mln* families that were left without electricity due to enemy attacks.
Work in the frontline districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region is complicated by constant threat of new attacks and limited access to the sites of damage. Nevertheless, repair crews continue to work and are doing everything possible to restore power supply as quickly as possible.
In case of a power outage, please inform DTEK Dnipro Grids through official communication channels: website, social media, Viber and Telegram chatbots.
Energy workers are working 24/7 to maintain reliable power supply to households and enterprises.
