Continuing to restore electricity: DTEK restored service to homes of over 30,000 families in 17 settlements of the Donetsk region
On May 4, DTEK Donetsk Grids employees managed to restore power to 17 settlements in the Donetsk region, despite active military activities in the region, thus restoring electricity to homes of 31,416 families in Bakhmut, Kramatorsk and Pokrovsk districts. Most connections were in Pokrovsk district.
Situation remains difficult and active military activities are underway in the Donetsk region, regularly causing damage of power equipment and lines. 99 settlements on the Ukraine-controlled territory of the Donetsk region remain without electricity. The most difficult situation remains near Lyman, Avdiivka, Marinka, Toretsk and Velyka Novosilka. Company’s specialists are waiting for the permit from the Armed Forces of Ukraine in order to perform repair of lines.
