A storm warning. DTEK Donetsk Grids recovery crews are all set

On March 11, a storm warning was announced in Donetsk Region. According to the Donetsk Regional Hydrometeorology Center, the southeastern wind may be up to 15-20 m/sec - this is the first danger level. Bad weather can lead to blackouts in the region. The DTEK Donetsk Grids workers are ready to promptly eliminate the consequences of accidents if necessary.

We listen to our customers and understand their needs. The energy workers are still mobilized to be all set to prevent blackouts related to bad weather and eliminate possible accidents. We work 24x7 in order to ensure that our customers have electricity and comfort in their homes,” says Oleksii Degtiarev, DTEK Donetsk Grids CEO.

Information about outages can be checked on the company website in the Planned and Emergency Outages section. If your address is in the list that means that the power workers know about the shutdown. If you have not found your address, leave a message on the company website in the same section, call the call center at (0629) 450 473, (099/096) 4500473 or message us through the DTEK Donetsk Grids Facebook page. You can also report the power outage using the Viber and Telegram chatbots.

You can learn about how to find your address in the list of emergency/planned outages on the company website here.

DTEK Donetsk Grids reminds of the need to comply with electrical safety rules:

  • In case of strong wind, do not stay near power lines;
  • Do not approach the broken wire closer than 8-12 meters and in no case touch it,
  • If you see wires that have fallen to the ground, broken or sagging wires, open doors and hatches of electrical installations, as well as damaged supports, please inform our call center or text us through our Facebook

Take good care of your life and health!
