Electricity restored to 14,300 families: DTEK continues to restore power to the Donetsk region

On May 28, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to completely or partially restore power to 20 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring electricity to 14,300 families. Energy workers continue to work and restore electricity to the customers’ homes as soon as it becomes possible.

Yesterday, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to restore power to 20 settlements in the Donetsk region that suffer from active hostilities, thus restoring electricity to 14,385 families in Bakhmut, Pokrovsk and Kramatorsk districts. The majority – in Kramatorsk.

Hostilities are underway. 310 settlements in the Donetsk region remain without electricity. The most difficult situation is near Sloviansk, Avdiivka, Marinka, Toretsk, Bakhmut and Velyka Novosilka, where shelling frequently causes damage to equipment and power lines. Company’s specialists are waiting for the permit from the Armed Forces of Ukraine to perform repairs.
