Electricity is restored to almost 2,000 families in the Donetsk region: DTEK continues to restore electricity

Despite difficult situation in the region, caused by shelling, yesterday DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and restoration crews managed to completely or partially restore power to residents of 8 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring electricity to almost 2,000 families. Energy workers continue restoring power where possible.

On May 19, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to perform repair of equipment and lines for residents of 8 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring electricity to 1,943 families in Pokrovsk, Bakhmut and Kramatorsk districts. The majority – in the Pokrovsk district.

Residents of 277 settlements in the Donetsk region remain without electricity. The most difficult situation is near Lyman, Avdiivka, Marinka, Toretsk, Bakhmut and Velyka Novosilka, where continuous and massive shelling frequently cause damage of electrical equipment. Company’s specialists are waiting for the permit from the Armed Forces of Ukraine to perform repairs.
