Electricity was restored to more than 1,600 families: DTEK electricians continue repairing grids in the liberated areas of the Kyiv region
On May 10, DTEK emergency crews have completely restored electricity to Kalynove and Sloboda-Kukharska villages, and partially restored it to Kukhari and Teterivske villages in the Vyshhorod district. They have also partially restored service to Hostomel, Irpin, Bucha and Horenka in the Bucha district, thus restoring electricity to 1,657 families.
5,500 households in 10 settlements remain without electricity.
On May 11, DTEK energy workers continue performing electricity restoration activities in settlements of Bucha and Vyshhorod districts, including as per requests of consumers, who returned to their homes in the liberated areas.
Energy workers of all DTEK Grids Distribution System Operators rallied to restore everything that was destroyed by the invaders. DTEK energy workers from Odessa and Dnipropetrovsk regions, as well as the city of Kyiv are helping to restore damaged grids in the Kyiv region. Electricians start their work immediately after mine clearance of these territories by the Ukrainian military and after provision of a permit by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, required to access damaged sites.
Emergency crews of energy workers are working non-stop for 76 days in a row in order to promptly restore power to settlements in Kyiv region, affected by hostilities.
