It is now easier to learn about scheduled outages: DTEK Dnipro Grids created an operational channel for condominiums
DTEK Dnipro Grids created a convenient online channel DTEK info DNEM in Viber to inform heads of the regional condominiums. Through this channel, the company promptly notifies about scheduled maintenances and emergency outages in the power grid, which entail temporary blackouts. More than 700 condominiums in Dnipro and the region use this channel.
“DTEK strives to become the benchmark of customer focus and puts efforts every day to make our services convenient and useful for our customers. Focusing on the needs of the people in the region, an operational remote communication channel was created in Viber, named “DTEK info DNEM”. Now 774 representatives of condominiums in the region have subscribed to it. They receive up-to-date information about failures and scheduled maintenances in the network and can quickly inform residents about this,” says Andrey Tereshchuk, Head of DTEK Dnipro Grids.
It is now possible to get the following information:
- Scheduled maintenance per month;
- Scheduled maintenance for the next day;
To start using the channel, you need to search for 'ДТЭК info ДНЕМ’ (DTEK info DNEM) in Viber and subscribe.
You can also find out about scheduled power outages and check if your address is in the list of scheduled maintenances in the corresponding section on the company's website. The charts indicate the maximum shutdown time required to do the job. But the company's crews try to complete the work as quickly as possible to minimize any discomfort for customers.
Moreover, you can get information about scheduled outages and report a failure using the DTEK Dnipro Grids chatbot in Viber and Telegram.
It should be noted that the company continues to implement the European technology to do the live line maintenance, meaning without power interruptions. Now more than 35% of repairs on 0.4 kV equipment are done without power interruption. At the end of 2022, the company plans to do 57% of the job on 0.4 kV lines this way, as well as 6-20 kV.
