Electricity is restored to 52,500 families: DTEK restored power to 143 settlements in Kyiv region

On March 28, DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids emergency crews have partially restored service to 143 settlements in Kyiv-Sviatoshyn, Vyshhorod, Boryspil, Brovary and Makariv districts of Kyiv region, left without electricity due to hostilities. Service was restored to 52,556 families. Emergency and restoration activities in the region continue, once the crews are enabled to safely perform them.

On March 28, DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids electricians managed to partially restore power to 143 settlements in five districts (Kyiv-Sviatoshyn, Vyshhorod, Boryspil, Brovary and Makariv), left without electricity due to hostilities. In the course of the past 24 hours, DTEK electricians have restored power supply to 52,556 families in Kyiv region.

The company cooperates with the Territorial Defense Forces and Armed Forces of Ukraine in order to access damaged sites. DTEK electricians jointly with doctors, volunteers and suppliers of the essential food and medications do everything in their power to support Ukraine and Ukrainians in these difficult circumstances.

Residents of 537 settlements in Kyiv region remain without electricity. The situation is complicated by active hostilities. Some settlements require restoration of power supply almost every day. Thirty emergency crews are working non-stop for 34 days in a row in order to promptly restore power to settlements in Kyiv region, affected by hostilities.
