Restoring service: DTEK has restored power to more than 12,000 families yesterday

On April 29, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews have completely or partially restored power to 26 settlements in the Donetsk region, left without electricity due to hostilities. Service is restored to more than 12,000 families. The company continues restoring power to its customers, as soon as it becomes possible.

Yesterday, specialists of the energy company have returned electricity to homes of 12,473 families in 26 settlements. Despite active military activities being at full swing in the Donetsk region, energy workers managed to repair equipment and lines, damaged by shelling, in Pokrovsk, Bakhmut and Kramatorsk districts of the Donetsk region.

Residents of 232 settlements in the Donetsk region remain without electricity.

The most difficult situation is near Lyman, Avdiivka, Marinka, Toretsk and Velyka Novosilka, where electrical equipment and power lines are being constantly damaged by shelling. Company’s specialists are waiting for the permit from the Armed Forces of Ukraine in order to perform repair of lines.
