Over the course of a month, DTEK has restored electricity to 10,000 families in settlements of the Dnipropetrovsk region that suffered from shelling

In May, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency and restoration crews have restored power to 9,874 homes* that were left without electricity due to damage of lines, caused by hostilities in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

Last month, emergency and repair crews have restored power to settlements of the region that were left without electricity due to damage of lines, caused by shelling, thus restoring electricity to 9,874 families.

The most difficult situation remains in the Kryvyi Rih district at the border with Kherson region, where shelling frequently causes damage to electrical equipment and power lines. DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists restore electricity immediately after obtaining the permit from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and State Emergency Service. Some homes require restoration of electricity on multiple occasions due to frequent shelling and damage of the electrical equipment.

Just last week, operation of lines was restored in several frequently shelled villages, restoring electricity to 5,290 homes of their residents.

Currently, power is restored to all settlements, affected by hostilities. The situation is completely under control.

Since the beginning of war, DTEK Dnipro Grids repair crews were transferred to the emergency response and restoration operating mode and are ready to promptly restore electricity during power outages. Employees have specific guidelines related to working in emergencies and are provided with everything needed to restore operation of equipment in case of damage, caused by hostilities.
