Over the course of a week, DTEK energy workers have restored electricity to homes of 56,000 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region, de-energized due to shelling

DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews managed to completely or partially restore electricity supply after missile attacks and shelling. Yesterday, they have restored electricity to 49 settlements in Nikopol, Pavlohrad and Kryvyi Rih districts.

For instance, power has been restored to residents of Kryvyi Rih, who were left without electricity due to missile attack. Massive enemy shelling on October 10 has disabled one of the power facilities of another energy company, leaving 29,000 consumers without electricity. DTEK energy workers managed to find a solution and switch all disconnected homes to backup power sources in the minimum amount of time. 18,000 homes were reconnected the same day, another 7,000 consumers – the next day, and power was restored to another 4,000 families in the night of October 12 thanks to alternative power supply circuits.

Despite constant threat from aggressor, DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists continue to promptly restore electricity to residents of the region. Work is carried out immediately after obtaining a permit from the AFU and State Emergency Service. Over the course of a week (October 3 through 11), electricity has been restored to homes of 56,000 families in 111 settlements of the Dnipropetrovsk region.

Power supply in the region is now fully restored. Yet, the situation with power supply remains difficult. Therefore, we ask residents to consume electricity wisely, when possible. Especially during the peak morning (from 7:00 to 11:00) and evening (from 17:00 to 22:00) hours. This will help avoid emergencies.

If you have a power outage, please inform DTEK Dnipro Grids. We will do everything possible to promptly restore electricity. To contact the company please use official information channels only.
