Over the course of a week, electricity was restored to 5,700 families and service was completely restored to the Ivankiv community: DTEK electricians continue repairing grids in the liberated areas of the Kyiv region

Over the course of a week (May 9 through 15), DTEK emergency and restoration crews have restored electricity to 5,794 families in 7 settlements of the Kyiv region, left without electricity during active hostilities. Energy workers managed to completely restore service to Ivankiv community in the Vyshhorod district. The company continues to restore grids in districts of the region immediately after mine clearance of the areas by the State Emergency Service specialists.

Last week, DTEK emergency crews have restored electricity to 5,794 homes in 7 settlements of Vyshhorod and Bucha districts. In particular, on May 15, electricity was restored to 726 homes in Hostomel, Irpin, Bucha and Horenka. Over the course of a weekend, energy workers have completed electricity restoration activities in Ivankiv community of the Vyshhorod district.

1,353 households in 5 settlements remain without electricity.

On May 16, DTEK energy workers continue performing electricity restoration activities in settlements of Bucha and Vyshhorod districts, including as per requests of consumers, who returned to their homes in the liberated areas.

Energy workers of all DTEK Grids Distribution System Operators rallied to restore everything that was destroyed by the invaders. DTEK energy workers from Odessa and Dnipropetrovsk regions, as well as the city of Kyiv were helping to restore damaged grids in the Kyiv region. Electricians start their work immediately after mine clearance of these territories by the State Emergency Service specialists.

Emergency crews of energy workers are working non-stop for 81 days in a row in order to promptly restore power to settlements in Kyiv region, affected by hostilities.
